KITCHENER, ON – The Rangers Reach Community Impact 50/50 Raffle supporting Farwell4Hire wrapped up as a true Win-Win in our community. The end result was a jackpot that soared to a record $113,640.00! Great news for Mike Farwell and his campaign in their effort to raise funds for Cystic Fibrosis, but equally amazing news for Cameron Swartentruber of Kitchener, who held the winning ticket in the month long raffle and was the Grand Prize winner of the Farwell4Hire 50/50!

The impact of our 50/50 was not only the big smile from Cameron in collecting his cheque. Mike was quick to let us know of the impact the funds raised for Cystic Fibrosis through the Rangers Reach 50/50 Raffle would have. The proceeds can support one year of a scientific research project.
Each year, Cystic Fibrosis Canada awards research grants to researchers and teams of investigators working in hospitals, universities, and research institutes across Canada. These institutions are advancing knowledge of cystic fibrosis through basic lab research, clinical trials or studies on quality of life and drug discovery.
While we couldn’t get Cameron live on the line following the draw on The Mike Farwell Show, Mike was able to connect with him a little later in the day to give him the news! A loyal and dedicated worker to his construction trade, Cameron was extremely pleased to hear of his big win! Cameraon and his wife, Janet’s immediate plans for the win are to have a little bit of ‘fun money’ and to invest the balance to prepare for their retirement. Congratulations Cameron!
