KITCHENER, ON – All it took was for one phone call to get Deanna Carney from Baden really excited. Carney, a front-line worker at St. Mary’s General Hospital claimed the $34,598.00 Jackpot in the Rangers Reach Community Impact 50/50 Raffle in support of St. Mary’s General Hospital Foundation. In the absense of hockey and in-venue 50/50 raffles, Rangers Reach has found a way to continue to support our community through the Community Impact 50/50 Raffle.
KITCHENER, ON – The Rangers Reach Community Impact 50/50 Raffle in support of St. Mary’s General Hospital Foundation wrapped up today with one lucky ticket holder taking home a record jackpot of $34,598! However, the big winner was St. Mary’s, who benefitted from the tremendous support of our community over the month of January to raise some much needed funds. These funds will help with the purchase of vital equipment for the St. Mary’s Regional Cardiac Care Centre.
KITCHENER, ON – Since 1995, Rangers fans have been flooding the ice with bears during the annual Teddy Bear Toss game immediately following the Ranger’s first goal. Unfortunately, this year made that a near impossible feat.
What was possible though, in collaboration with the Kitchener Rangers, was to commemorate the team jersey worn during the first ever Teddy Bear Toss game in 1995. We put on our thinking caps as to how we could replace the community support generated from the Teddy Bear Toss. We came up with an idea and created a retro t-shirt with that era’s logo. The shirts were sold in the month of December and raised $3,050.00 to benefit Clarky’s Kids.
KITCHENER, ON – Rangers Reach is excited to announce a partnership with the St. Mary’s General Hospital Foundation (SMGHF), kicking of a Rangers Reach Community Impact 50/50 Raffle on New Year’s Day 2021 to promote and support heart health in our community.
Traditionally, every September, the Kitchener Rangers host a “Fan Appreciation BBQ” to coincide with the start of the exhibition season at The Aud. Each year, the proceeds generated from the event would go to support Children’s Wish/Make-A-Wish. However, with the arrival of the pandemic and in person gatherings being limited, we were unable to host the event 2020.
Alternatively, the Rangers and Rangers Reach collaborated on hosting an online event to auction our alternate/third game jerseys online allowing us to continue to support Make-A-Wish Southwestern Ontario.
