Sarah is a lifelong hockey fan who grew up playing hockey in Kitchener. With the rink serving as a second home for much of her life, she has developed a deep appreciation for the important role that sport plays in building strong, connected communities and the commitment to volunteerism.
Sarah has been actively involved with Kitchener Minor Hockey as a coach for many years. Her Rangers Reach volunteer journey began when she helped sell 50/50 tickets at a Canada–U.S. women’s hockey game. Excited by the experience and the opportunity to give back, she became a regular volunteer and has remained actively involved ever since. She finds great reward in seeing the positive impact these efforts have on individuals, families, and organizations throughout the region, and is proud to contribute to initiatives that help strengthen the community she calls home.
