Rangers Reach and the Kitchener Rangers believe Rangers hockey should be an experience our entire community can share. Through Community Builders, local organizations can access complimentary tickets and create memorable experiences for the people they serve.
Community Builders is separate from our Community Gift-in-Kind program — existing gift-in-kind applications remain valid and new donation requests for items to support a fundraising activity or event can be submitted here.
Who Can Apply?
Community Builders is open to registered charities, non-profits, and community organizations based in Waterloo Region whose mission is to deliver local community impact, including organizations which:
- Deliver youth and family programming
- Provide crisis and emergency support services, including addressing food security and homelessness
- Support seniors, newcomers, people with disabilities, and Indigenous and racialized communities
- Deliver arts, culture, and education programming
- Connect people to services
- Build volunteer capacity across the region
How Can the Tickets be Used?
Community Builders seats are offered to community organizations to benefit those who may not otherwise have the opportunity to attend a Rangers game.
Organizations are encouraged to prioritize:
- Beneficiaries who may face barriers to experiencing Rangers hockey, or whose wellbeing would benefit from attending; or
- Volunteers, ambassadors, essential employees, or other individuals crucial to delivering the organization’s mission
Recipients will be asked to share who benefited from the tickets after the game date.
Community Builder tickets must not be used for fundraising, including as auction items and raffle prizes. For donations to support a fundraising activity or event, please request a Community Gift-in-Kind donation here.
How to Apply

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Applicants will receive a decision on their request within 10 business days.
We can accommodate accessibility needs for participants based on seat availability. Please detail requirements in the application.

- Tickets must be used to attend the game they were issued for. Failure to use them may impact future eligibility.
- Resale is not permitted. Organizations found reselling tickets will be excluded from future consideration.
