Kitchener, ON – June 17th, 2026: Rangers Reach and the Kitchener Rangers are proud to celebrate another record-breaking season of fundraising and community impact!
The 2025-2026 season was one for the record books! Thanks to the incredible support of our fans, volunteers, sponsors, and partners, Rangers Reach raised a record-breaking $1.848M through our game-day 50/50’s, game-worn jersey raffles, and other special initiatives at Kitchener Rangers and KW Titans home games. This marks the largest fundraising total in Rangers Reach history!
Through our 50/50 raffle programs, a total of $884,671 in jackpot prizes was awarded to winners across the region, including a historic $149,540 jackpot win by Melissa from Waterloo—the largest 50/50 prize in OHL history. The year ended with the Rangers capturing their third ever Memorial Cup, and Derek from Kitchener walking away with a $44,855 Memorial Cup jackpot win!
But, our impact in the community extends far beyond just jackpot winners. Throughout the season, $320,811 was invested back into the Kitchener-Waterloo Region through grants and donations supporting local charities, programs, and initiatives.
Notable grants include :
- $15,000 to Camino Wellbeing & Mental Health
- $11,000 to Reception House Waterloo Region
- $10,000 to Women’s Crisis Services of Waterloo Region
- $10,000 to the Waterloo Regional Health Network Foundation
- $9,500 to the Cambridge Food Bank

Notable donations include:
- $13,963 to Clarky’s Kids & the Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario (Holiday Bonus Beneficiary)
- $36,848 to the YMCA of Three Rivers (Playoff Bonus Beneficiary)
- $10,000 to the Children’s Health Foundation
- $15,000 to Make-a-Wish Canada
- $6,000 to KidsAbility Foundation
- $10,000 to Waterloo Region Suicide Prevention Council
Scholarships in the amount of $28,500 were awarded to 19 graduating high school students across the Waterloo Region. And player-led initiatives saw funding directed towards organizations meaningful to them:
- Andrew MacNiel and Andrew’s Ambition: $5,000 to The Hospital for Sick Children Foundation
- Sam O’Reilly: $5,000 to Cassie + Friends
Our success this year wouldn’t have been possible without our presenting sponsor Arnold Hearing Centres, our charitable gaming parter BUMP, our amazing partnerships with both the Kitchener Rangers & the KW Titans, #RTown, and of course our volunteers who dedicated over 3,400 hours to us this season!
Rangers Reach is gearing up for the 2026–2027 OHL season with continued enhancements to our raffle program and delivery systems to further strengthen our community impact. We’re excited for what’s ahead and the difference we’ll continue to make together!
