Pinelli Announced as FACS Community Champion

The Kitchener Rangers Hockey Club, in partnering with Rangers Reach are pleased to announce Francesco Pinelli as a Community Champion for Family & Children Services of Waterloo Region Foundation (FACS Foundation).

Pinelli, in his second year with the Kitchener Rangers Hockey Club, believes that his involvement with FACS Foundation will “make a difference in the local community,” and he “would like to use this platform to help people see the importance of supporting families and children who are in need.”

Community Impact 50/50 Raffle Prize Awarded

Good things come to those who wait. Truer words couldn’t describe New Hamburg’s Freda Klassen better.

Klassen, a Rangers season ticket holder, held the winning number in the inaugural Rangers Reach Community Impact 50/50 Raffle and recently stopped by to collect her cheque for $9612.00

The first Rangers Reach Community Impact 50/50 Raffle wrapped up in mid-October and was a huge success. Not only did one lucky winner collect the grand prize jackpot, it raised much needed funds for four great community charity partners. The benficiaries of the draw were the Canadian Mental Health Association of Waterloo Wellington, Habitat for Humanity Waterloo Region, House of Friendship and The Food Bank of Watelroo Region.

2019 Remembrance Day Jersey Auction raises funds for K-W Poppy Fund

A long standing tradition of the Kitchener Rangers has been supporting local groups and charities. A portion of the proceeds from the Remembrance Day Jersey Auction has resulted in an annual donation to the K-W Poppy Fund. Rangers Reach, in continuing that tradition, presented a donation to the K-W Poppy Fund of $6694.74 to benefit Veterans.

The 2019 auction marked the 15th year of the program. Since its inception, the auction has raised over $160,000 for the local Poppy Fund.
